Hey! It’s been a while because I’ve been taking some holidays and I’ve been really busy with a program I’m making, about investing for beginners, in Dutch. It’s pretty much finished now! 104 videos in total, about 6 hours of content. I’m happy with the result, but I’ll always be improving it based on new things I learn and feedback I receive.
From tomorrow onwards I’ll go back to my regular schedule of uploading 3 videos per week. At the same time, during August I’ll be focusing on the marketing strategy for the program. I’ll likely start executing that strategy in September. The months after that will be pretty important I believe. Very exciting to be working on this!
Just wanted to share one thing with you: NFTs. I still know very little about this entirely new world, but it’s an exciting world. I think it’s a great bridge between the real world and the crypto world. NFTs will be like the museums of the digital world. A big part of the metaverse.
You’ve got CryptoPunks for example. Avatars that are selling for literally millions of dollars. It’s quite insane to watch. While I would never buy one for millions myself, I do understand other people are buying them. It’s just like collecting baseball cards, which can go for crazy amounts of money too.
Another interesting NFT niche is NFT gaming. Axie Infinity is paving the way towards NFT gaming with a growing community that’s very excited about the game. Other games are also getting a lot of traction. One of them is CryptoBlades. I personally bought a bit of their token, the SKILL token. It’s super duper risky and it can definitely go to zero eventually, but the game has a lot of users and is one of the winners of a Binance contest, potentially earning themselves a Binance listing in the near future. Gamer sentiment is a bit marginal right now though, so be ultra careful with this one.
In any case I think it’s great to discover these new niches. Growth seems to be exponential and the NFT world is still only so small. There’s a lot of innovation happening, making it almost impossible to keep up with all the trends. But yes, I do believe NFTs in general are here to stay. Even though the large majority of the NFTs is probably close to being worthless. If you can find the gems, you can make great gains.
Anyways, just something I thought I’d share with you :) Hope you’re doing well, and hope to talk to you soon!
