I’ve taken a few steps back recently. I went from 7 regular videos, 5 Stock O’Clock videos and 1 livestream per week to 3 regular videos, 5 Stock O’Clock videos and almost no livestreams. I’ve been on YouTube since September 2020. Having come to the point where I am now is awesome, but it’s not enough to live off of.
I’m freeing up some time to focus on creating a program about investing for beginners, in Dutch. This program will be more in line with my overall mission: to teach people how to manage their money so they can lead financially healthier lives. In the next two months I’ll be dedicating my time to creating the program and setting up the marketing strategies.
At the same time I’m likely going to create a second YouTube channel for Dutch people where I want to document my journey. As Gary Vaynerchuk says: “Document, not create”. I want to try and do exactly that. I’m thinking about simply doing livestreams there to show what I’m doing and why I’m doing it. At the same time I want to give people the possibility to share their ideas and suggestions.
As mentioned before, this program would be more in line with my mission. I recently created a page where I talk about my mission: https://www.nesami.com/mission. It’s still work in progress, but most is ready. Might tweak some things here and there. Feel free to read it and share your thoughts and suggestions :)
So yes, I’ll be taking a step back, but only in order to take two steps forward. I am only getting started here. Hope you have you along for the ride :)
Have a great weekend!
